A two-year safety net, from the summer before freshman year through sophomore year.
Getting accepted into a four-year college is a monumental achievement — but for first-generation and low-income students, it’s only the beginning. College Support Program CV provides a comprehensive, two-year continuum of holistic support: the coaching, academic safety net, and peer community scholars need to graduate and unlock life-changing opportunities. Every element is 100% free, fully donor-funded.
What a scholar's two years actually look like.
SSIPP — Sustained, Strategic, Integrated, Proactive & Personalized support — is delivered through three pillars:
Master’s-Level Success Coaching
Weekly 1-on-1 sessions throughout freshman year with an experienced college success coach, guiding scholars through academic planning, time management, financial literacy, and campus navigation.
1-on-1 STEM Mentoring & Tutoring
Dedicated, individual subject-matter tutoring in core science, math, and engineering coursework, to build early academic strength and confidence.
Bi-Weekly Peer Integration Check-Ins
Facilitated group sessions every two weeks, supporting emotional, social, and cultural transition to college dorm life.
Supplemental Support
As our scholars enter their upperclassmen years, our support evolves to focus on professional empowerment. CSPCV provides hands-on guidance to help Juniors and Seniors navigate competitive internships, build professional LinkedIn pages and resumes, and master strategic job search techniques. From networking with industry leaders to evaluating job offers, we stand beside our scholars through every step of their transition from university student to career professional.
Resilience and drive, not just GPA.
We look beyond raw GPA metrics. College Support Program CV supports first-generation and low-income (FGLI) scholars who demonstrate resilience, drive, and personal growth — students who are ready to show up, communicate, and grow. By focusing on the whole scholar rather than a transcript alone, we ensure that every student who commits to their education has a dedicated team standing behind them.
